Eating vegan at the TamaMarket is easy! This weekly Saturday community market has many options to choose from. The food stands are sprinkled through the other artisan vendors making a leisurely stroll through the market a morning of discovery. Of course, El Aguacate is set up with a full menu offering creative, tropical, fresh made to order food, beverages, freshly prepared condiments, ferments, nut butters, and other gluten-free and vegan baked goods.
Other vendors include the most popular market vendor, Vida Bowls. Vida Bowls is a smoothie and smoothie bowl truck with refreshing combinations that are artfully prepared and delicious.
Fredos Vegan Tacos. This husband and wife team serve up Mexican-style street tacos bursting with authentic flavors. Many of their customers can’t believe their tacos are vegan.
Cuchara Tica is a Costa Rican family run food stand that offers typical Costa Rican cuisine. They can create begs versions of their Casado and Pinto. Just ask!
Palma Pop has a wide variety of kombuchas and ginger beers. They usually offer a couple kombuchas on tap and other specials. These are very refreshing on a hot day which is almost every day in Tamarindo.
Nosara Organic has a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables. They also sell other pantry items like rice, beans, nuts and seeds.
